Drawing and poster for Das öde Haus, Droste Festival 2024 - Nenn mich Hexe!

"Das öde Haus" ist eine ortsbezogene Intervention im Haus Rüschhaus bei Münster. Performances, Soundinstallationen, Skulpturen, Zeichnungen und Kostüme setzen sich im Rahmen des Formats mit dem Motiv des Hexenhauses als Ort der Verlockungen, Täuschungen und Tarnungen, aber auch als Schutz-, und Möglichkeitsraum selbstbestimmter Handlungen auseinander. Von Annette von Droste-Hülshoff als “Schneckenhäuschen” beschrieben, stellen die privaten Räume der Dichterin und ihrer Amme im Haus Rüschhaus einen Posten des Rückzugs in die intime Konzentration und Kreativität dar. Das Hexenhaus, von außen oftmals als mystifizierte Projektionsfläche und hermetisches Domizil zwielichtiger, weiblich konnotierter Narrative eingesetzt, steht im Innern vielmehr für Safer Spaces, in denen sich transformative Kräfte entfalten können. Das öde Haus duckt sich vor den Blicken der Besucher*innen und spricht doch eine ungewöhnliche Einladung aus.
